I'm a big fan of my Z Grill Pellet Smoker and do most of my cooking on it. For this recipe, and many of the recipes I share that are Smoked, I will be cooking them on my Z Grill. Also, I will not get specific on seasonings for this recipe, but instead will focus on telling you how to get tender, fall off the bone Wings.
It's so simple.
To start, simply fire up your Smoker and get it preheated to 225 degrees. Once hot, season your wings with you favorite rub (brining is recommended not needed) and place your Wings on the rack. After about 3 hours, you now have the option to increase the heat of your Grill to 350 degrees and brush on your favorite sauce for a crispy skin (brush each side with sauce in 10 minute intervals for a total of 3 times each side) or take them off, give them a quick flash fry then toss in your favorite sauce. That's it.
